About Chris
Christopher Roberts is the founder and lead instructor of CR2 Shooting Solutions. A retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class, Christopher spent nearly two decades developing marksmen, leaders, and instructors across the U.S. Army. He served as a Senior Instructor at the U.S. Army Sniper Course, taught the Small Arms Master Marksman Course, instructed the Urban Breach Course, and contributed to the development of marksmanship doctrine, training programs, and capability requirements for the Army.
What sets Christopher apart is not simply his operational experience, but his background as a professional educator. In addition to years of classroom and range instruction, he is formally trained in curriculum development and instructional design. His certifications include the Basic Instructors Course, Common Faculty Developers Course, Small Group Instructor Trainers Course, and the Doctrine Writers Course. These programs focused on how to build effective training, develop curriculum, write doctrine, facilitate learning, and evaluate student performance. That educational foundation shapes every course produced by CR2 Training.
Christopher's teaching philosophy centers on one principle: consistent performance comes from a disciplined Shot Process. Rather than teaching isolated techniques or shortcuts, his instruction develops the knowledge, decision making, and repeatable processes that allow shooters to perform consistently across changing conditions.
Today, Christopher trains hunters, competitive shooters, recreational marksmen, military personnel, and law enforcement professionals through in person instruction and the CR2 Training online platform. His growing course library covers topics including rifle setup, precision marksmanship, wind and long range shooting, angle fire, low light marksmanship, laser rangefinder employment, drone employment, night vision, and other specialized applications.
