What to Expect
Our In-person Private Precision Rifle Training provides a personalized, hands-on experience for precision-rifle shooters of varying backgrounds and skill levels. Available one-on-one or in a small-group environment, each session is tailored to your experience, equipment, and goals.
This training is ideal for:
- Precision-rifle enthusiasts ready to stretch their legs and build confidence at greater distances
- Shooters interested in entering precision-rifle competitions
- Experienced competitors looking to refine their skills
- Law-enforcement and tactical shooters seeking to expand their capabilities
You can expect professional instruction, guided practice, personalized feedback, equipment guidance, and focused time to address your questions and challenges. Your curriculum will be developed around your goals before the session.
Your Instructor
Your training will be led by a Senior Sniper Instructor, experienced hunter, and competitive precision-rifle shooter. Drawing from practical field experience and success across multiple shooting disciplines, your instructor has earned podium finishes in precision team matches, gas-gun matches, and international military sniper matches.
This combination of military, hunting, and competitive experience brings a well-rounded perspective to every session. Instruction is practical, adaptable, and focused on helping each shooter develop greater confidence, consistency, and capability.
Required Equipment
Please bring the following equipment:
- A safe, serviceable precision rifle
- A properly mounted optic with turrets adjustable in either ¼ MOA or 0.1 MIL increments
- A minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition per training day
- Ammunition from the same manufacturing lot to promote consistency
- A reliable bipod
- At least one support bag; Armageddon Gear bags are recommended
- Eye and ear protection
- Any magazines, sling, or additional equipment you normally use
- Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear
- Sunscreen, hydration, snacks, and any necessary medications
- A notebook or device for recording information
Recommended Equipment
The following items are strongly recommended:
- A laser rangefinder
- A tripod suitable for observation
- Binoculars for spotting from the tripod; these may have an integrated rangefinder or be standard standalone binoculars
Participant Requirements
Before participating in training, each attendee will be required to:
- Present a valid, government-issued state photo ID
- Review and sign CR2 Training’s liability waiver
- Follow all applicable laws, range policies, safety procedures, and instructor commands
Anyone who does not provide valid identification or sign the required liability waiver will not be permitted to participate.
All firearms must arrive unloaded and secured in an appropriate case. Additional requirements and a detailed equipment checklist will be provided before your scheduled session.
Safety and Conduct Policy
Safety is the highest priority during every CR2 Training session. All participants must follow applicable laws, range rules, safety procedures, and instructor commands at all times.
Any participant who has a negligent discharge or is observed behaving in a belligerent, reckless, or dangerous manner will be removed from the training and asked to leave the property immediately. These decisions will be made in the interest of protecting everyone present.
Scheduling and Travel
All requested training dates are subject to instructor approval and are not considered confirmed until you receive direct confirmation from CR2 Training.
Before booking flights, lodging, rental vehicles, or making other nonrefundable travel arrangements, you are strongly encouraged to email Chris@cr2training.com to verify availability and receive approval for your preferred dates. CR2 Training is not responsible for travel expenses booked before a training date has been confirmed.
Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policy
All payments are final, and CR2 Training maintains a no-refunds policy.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise and will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your training for a later available date. Rescheduling requests must be submitted as soon as possible and are subject to instructor and range availability.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests received within 48 hours of the scheduled training are not guaranteed a complimentary reschedule. An additional training or rescheduling fee may be required.
